I am Yang Li, a lecturer at the School of Marxism of Soochow University. I graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a doctoral degree in the History of Science and Technology in 2025. My research focuses on elite education in Republican China, especially overseas students. My doctoral thesis is Research on Scientific and Technological Talents among Modern Chinese Students Studying in Japan: A Database-Centered Approach.
As a member of the Lee-Campbell group, I participate in the study of Chinese overseas and domestic students and am responsible for the completion of the CUSD-OS and related materials and the organization and maintenance of the CUSD-ROC.
